As agriculture is such a huge industry, responsible for providing the world with sustenance and nutrition for daily life, these jobs descriptions tend to be rather diverse spanning a wide range of areas.  The jobs associated with agriculture form the majority of work for most people in many countries throughout the world.

Specifically, agriculture is a method of producing plant forms of food utilizing the well established farming techniques developed over the centuries. There are several other technical positions available in the agriculture field including general lab technician and farm technician. Additional job opportunities at the working class level include farm transportation services, land appraisal, packaging, labeling, and farm management.

Various governmental positions are available in the agriculture service sectors for such positions as inspector, entomologist, and irrigation specialists, rural reconstruction, agriculture development, machinery, water conservation, electricity management and so forth. Governmental entities tend to good, well-compensated positions with great benefits employing agricultural employees at the district, state and federal level.
